JOB PLACEMENT CELL

ISIT Authority has launched a state-of-the-art Placement Cell with the help of Institute of Science and Information Technology Alumni Network for placement or job facilitation. Its main function is to provide quality jobs to the graduates by establishing close ties with reputed industries at home and abroad.

The work of the ISIT Job Placement Cell is briefly highlighted.

• Collecting resumes, phone numbers, e-mail addresses and creating a database for technology-based students.
  
• The prepared list is given on the website and updated regularly.
• Determining labor market demand. To create and supply skilled manpower accordingly.
• Arranging Job Placement Fair to provide jobs to the best students.
• Establishing good relations with the employers by contacting the potential employers, organizations and arranging jobs for the advanced students by signing MOU with them.
• Publish Placement Magazine. There are names of skilled students, addresses, potential employer organizations, publishing a list of organizations, and guides to get a good job.
• To arrange Study tours and hands-on training of students in reputed Industries.
• Invite senior officials of the industries as Guest Lecturers to establish Industry-Linkage. Encourage their active participation in meetings, seminars.
• Finding jobs abroad, coordinating communication, guiding, and assisting in joining.
• To compile a list of alumni of the institution, collect information on their workplace, and motivate current students to provide advice and assistance in getting jobs.
• Preparing job candidates through demo interviews.
• HRs of the reputed organizations are coming to our campus and arranging On-Campus interviews.
• Career counseling is arranged for the students to get good jobs.
• Technology-based workshops are arranged.
• Psychologists help students to solve personal life problems and show them the right way.
• In order to increase the theoretical knowledge of the subject, Cisco has organized two free courses called “Introduction to Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Essentials” and “IT Essentials (A+)”.
